“This strength will be that of the next generation.

A proposal dating from 2019

The “new force” mentioned corresponds to the “popular federation” proposed by Jean-Luc Mélenchon during the campaign for the European elections in 2019, said MP Adrien Quatennens, number 2 of LFI, during a press conference.

"It has been almost two years since the proposal was made to bring about the emergence of a popular federation which would see political, union and citizen forces unite," he said.
