The Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and installed loudspeakers and electronic devices on its roof from the northern and western sides.
The storming process and the installation of devices and headphones took place on Sunday morning, and this step comes about 3 years after the occupation placed gates at the entrances to Al-Aqsa Mosque, which sparked Palestinian anger, forcing the occupation authorities to remove the gates.
In a statement issued shortly after the new storming operation, the Council of Endowments and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, the Supreme Islamic Commission, the Fatwa Department, the Office of the Judge Judge, the Jerusalem Endowment Department, and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs condemned the violation by the occupation police of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque by erecting stairs at the entrance to the Lions Gate minaret, and ascending to The roof of the (legitimate) school and the door of the tribes by force, despite the endowment’s rejection of this measure, and its lack of response since last Thursday.
These bodies said that what the Israeli police did in Al-Aqsa Mosque "reveals the intentions of the occupation police and what they conceal about the right of the first Muslim qiblah and the most sacred thing for Muslims in these lands."
She added that there is a fierce attack by the occupation on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and all employees and workers of the Endowment Department, and appealed to the King of Jordan, Abdullah II, to quickly intervene to curb the occupation's policies and cancel all his measures that he tries to pass by force.
The statement confirmed that the occupation plans will be destroyed on the rock of steadfastness of the people of Jerusalem and those stationed in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Yesterday, Saturday, the Israeli police assaulted the guards and employees of Al-Aqsa Mosque after their members stormed the Dome of the Rock, arrested 4 of them, and then released them after interrogating them for hours, provided that they were deported from Al-Aqsa for a week, subject to renewal.
