With the precocious phenomenon Ansu Fati, who became at 17 years and 311 days the youngest scorer in the history of La Roja, Spain outclassed Ukraine 4-0 on Sunday night in Madrid for the second day of the Nations League , and took first place in Group 4.

Another record: after becoming the second youngest player in the history of La Roja against Germany on Thursday, FC Barcelona winger Ansu Fati became this Sunday the youngest scorer in the history of the national team Spain, scoring the 3-0 goal after captain Sergio Ramos' double (3rd, 29th) and before the final achievement of Ferran Torres (4-0).

Fati scored with a curled shot from the right from outside the area, after causing the 1-0 penalty (transformed by Sergio Ramos, 3rd) and attempting an acrobatic kickback blocked by a Ukrainian player (26th).

Already on Thursday, Fati made Spanish national league history as the second youngest player to come on the scene in a Spanish national team game since Angel Zubieta, who came on at 17 years and 284 days on April 26, 1936 against Czechoslovakia (Spanish defeat 1-0).

At the head of the young Spanish guard, Fati was one of the many satisfactions on the Spanish side, during this second meeting which served coach Luis Enrique to conclude a large workforce review of young talents who have upset the hierarchy within la Roja.

Sergio Reguilon (Sevilla FC), Eric Garcia (Manchester City), Mikel Merino (Real Sociedad), Oscar Rodríguez (Leganés) and Ferran Torres (Manchester City) all had their first selection this week, between the 1-1 draw. Thursday in Germany and the victory against Ukraine this Sunday.

On the other hand, this was not the case with Adama Traoré, who left the selection on Saturday as a precaution, after a positive but "inconclusive" PCR test and then a second negative in the week, nor of the goalkeeper Unai Simon, who remained on the bench.

The other satisfaction is the state of form of the training executives, Jesus Navas (34 years old) and especially Sergio Ramos (34 years old), author of a double (on penalty and a lob of the head) to become the 8th top scorer for La Roja, tied with legend Alfredo di Stéfano (23 goals).

With this large victory, Spain took the lead of Group 4 of League A of this Nations League 2020-2021, ahead of Germany, who drew 1-1 against Switzerland in Basel.
