The party decided to participate in this election and nominated me to represent it.

The party felt that it was good, in addition to the peaceful protests against Alpha Condé's third term, to also fight at the polls.

[…] I am a candidate for the presidential election to lose Alpha Condé at the polls.

He has already lost the confidence of the people.

The people want to sanction him at the polls.
