The reactions and the loving greetings have been many, including on social media, after the news of the death of municipal councilor Johanna Skottman.

They come from political colleagues - within her own party locally and in the county, but also across party lines - from the district in Örebro where she was ombudsman and from residents in Surahammar.

- Johanna came up with a lot of ideas about what we should work with and how we should do and she did that in the end, says Leif Carlberg, former vice chairman of the municipal board and now acting municipal councilor.

- I remember her as a reliable person, decent, as when she said something, she meant it too.

A memorial service will be held at the end of next week.

A model is now being developed that can work despite the current pandemic, the Social Democrats in Surahammar announce.
