India records a record increase in Corona injuries, and the total is 4 million

The total number of Coronavirus infections in India exceeded four million, after a record increase, today, to become the third country in the world to exceed this number after the United States and Brazil.

Data from the Federal Ministry of Health revealed that India recorded 86,432 new cases of the virus today, which is a record number for daily infections worldwide.

Cases have increased across the country, including the capital, New Delhi, and the major states of Karnataka and Maharashtra.

The jump in cases that exceeded four million cases comes just 13 days after India reached three million cases, in a sharp acceleration of injuries compared to a period of more than 100 days before the previous million cases were recorded.

India is recording its largest daily toll in cases of corona in about a month, as its government seeks to open commercial activities to revive an economy suffering from severe contraction.

The death toll from Covid-19 disease in India has increased by more than a thousand to reach 69,561 people today, Saturday.
