The accident happened at about 20:30 Moscow time on the 58th km of the A-180 Narva highway.
“Scania, driven by a male driver, collided with a pedestrian.
Dodging a collision, the car fell on its right side, and fuel oil spilled onto the roadway, ”the statement says.
It is noted that the pedestrian was killed at the scene, and the truck driver was injured and was hospitalized.
