It is short and intense when the competitors get through the shackles at Sundsviksbadet.

It only takes 16 seconds for the boat to drive from the entrance gate to the exit gate.

During that time, the contestant must have time to pass six shackles.

It requires muscle and concentration.

15-year-old Lea Wickman makes her first competition in the slalom branch.

- In the middle of the summer, I train four or five times a week.

But now it is maybe twice, says Lea Wickman who has trained for VSK Kringlan for almost three years.

Beat personal record

Saturday's competition was arranged with fewer starters and no audience due to covid-19.

A total of 25 people of mixed ages started and competed in slalom and tricks.

17-year-old Casper Terner aimed high and hoped for a personal record in his parade number slalom - and of course it went his way.

- It went really well, I broke my personal record in slalom which I wanted to do all year, says Casper Terner.
