7 criteria for re-opening the doors of schools in Sharjah

The Sharjah Special Education Authority confirmed the follow-up of private schools in the emirate, by conducting regular inspection visits to ensure that the necessary procedures are applied to reopen their doors to receive students.

She said that schools must implement seven criteria to reopen their doors to students on September 10, namely: clinic license, insurance against others, professional licensing for medical staff, a certificate of fulfilling the requirements from the civil defense, and the completion of the database of students, teachers and school personnel that work inside each school, And a certificate of sterilization or disinfection of the building, and a qualified team in each school to deal with the repercussions of Covid-19, and the completion of Corona examinations for school staff, teachers, administrators and students from the age of 12 years and over.

She indicated that it has started conducting tests for Covid-19 in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Community Protection for teachers and employees in schools, as they must undergo examination to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

She asked parents to contact schools to inform them of the scheduled examination date for their children.

It indicated that it had organized several meetings with school administrations to ensure that they met the required precautionary measures to ensure the safe return of students, achieve zero new infections with the Coronavirus during the new academic year, and stress the application of precautionary measures to ensure their safety.
