Vucic said that Belgrade and Pristina have not solved all their problems and there are still many disagreements between them, but the conclusion of the agreement is a huge step forward.
He expressed deep gratitude to Trump and his team for mediating in the preparation of the agreement.
“It is very important for us that we will have a unifying economic zone in all the Western Balkans.
This will give us real economic results for the benefit of all our people, "- quoted by TASS Vucic.
The Serbian leader also recalled that the last American president to visit Belgrade was Jimmy Carter.
“Come to Serbia and you will have the most hospitable welcome,” said Vucic.
Trump replied that he would not be able to come in the coming months due to the US election campaign.
At the same time, he added that he is looking forward to the opportunity to visit Serbia and Kosovo "in the not so distant future."
Earlier, Vucic announced the signing of a bilateral agreement with the United States on the unrecognized state of Kosovo.
The White House, in turn, said that Serbia and the unrecognized state of Kosovo had reached an agreement during negotiations in Washington to normalize relations in the economic sphere.
