The young man served in closed youth care and was released on guarded leave in Kungsbacka at Hede fashion outlet.
He is still at large and internationally wanted.
But now three of the men suspected of having helped him escape have been prosecuted at Varberg District Court for promoting escape.
Together, they are suspected of having planned and carried out the release and then hidden the convicted murderer in an apartment in Gothenburg.
According to prosecutor Gisela Sjölvall, the escape has been planned since before and she sees the crime as serious considering that the man who was released has been convicted of murder.
The accused men deny any wrongdoing.
