In his appeal, the legislator recalled that today the size of the tax deduction (the part of income from which no tax is levied) for the first and second child is 1.4 thousand rubles each, for the third and subsequent ones - 3 thousand rubles each. 

At the same time, a deduction for a child can be received until the total amount of income taxed at 13% for the current year reaches 350 thousand rubles. 

"I ask you to consider the possibility of increasing the size of standard tax deductions to 4 thousand rubles for the first and second child, up to 8 thousand rubles for the third and each subsequent child," the text of the appeal says.

In addition, according to the idea of ​​the author of the initiative, it is also necessary to increase the total income, up to which citizens can receive a deduction for children, up to 600 thousand rubles.

Earlier, State Duma Deputy Elena Strokova proposed to reduce the interest rate on mortgages for families who adopted a child from an orphanage.
