In Mali, ten soldiers were killed last night in an ambush in the center of the country, near the town of Nara, about 500 kilometers north of the capital Bamako.

The attackers first laid mines on the convoy on the way to the Malian army made up of ten vehicles.
A large explosion was heard, according to a report.
The attackers then used their automatic weapons, aiming closely at the convoy, in the town of Guiré, located in an area close to the Mauritanian border.
At least ten Malian soldiers, including a second lieutenant, were killed, military vehicles damaged and an ambulance removed.
If the attack has not been claimed, for a while, jihadists have been reported in this part of Malian territory.
