The deputy of the European Solidarity faction, Vladimir Aryev, published on his Facebook page documents that, according to the politician, prove the fact that the SBU has organized a special operation to "lure" Russian citizens detained at the end of July on the territory of Belarus into the territory of Belarus.

In August, Kiev asked Minsk to hand over the detained Russians to it, but in the end they were sent to Russia.

As explained by Aryev, he was forced to make public the documents at his disposal, since the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmitry Razumkov, refused Eurosolidarity's request to create a temporary commission of inquiry (VSK) to clarify the circumstances of the failed extradition of Russians.

This investigation, from the point of view of the party, should concern the highest officials of Ukraine.

“I have a complete package of documents for all the Wagnerites, documented by the special services of Ukraine.

The transcripts of the conversations of the Wagner recruiter, signed by senior investigators of the SBU, suspicions that were sent to the court and signed by the person in charge of the Prosecutor General's Office ... ", Aryev said.

According to the deputy, the Russians were supposed to go to Istanbul on July 25 by air flight through Belarus, but the flight was postponed.

Four days later, citizens of the Russian Federation were detained by the republic's KGB, which led to the disruption of the special operation of the SBU.

Ariev blames the failure of President Vladimir Zelensky's entourage.

“The reason for the cancellation of the flight is a key moment, and here the key role of Zelensky's office is, because the team to postpone the departure was from there ... It was repeatedly reported that the leak came from the office of the President of Ukraine, so the Belarusian KGB arrested the militants,” Aryev said.

At the same time, according to the Eurosolidarity deputy, the Ukrainian leadership deceived the society, denying the fact of the operation.

Aryev believes that "the only way to find out what happened and why the special operation did not end is the creation of the TSC in the Verkhovna Rada."

"The top leadership of the country is mixed up"

We will remind, on August 19, the SBU published a message on its website, in which it called the information that appeared in the media about the participation of the Ukrainian special-purpose law enforcement agency in the special operation as a "fake".

As emphasized in the department, “the initiators of such information“ stuffing ”act according to the logic“ a lie translated several times may seem true to someone ”.

“We also declare that not a single employee of the Security Service of Ukraine took part in the conversations between the militants and the recruiter, which were allegedly recorded on audio recordings.

Therefore, titling one of the participants in the conversations as an "SBU officer" is speculation and deliberate manipulation, "the intelligence service said.

For the first time, information about the involvement of Ukrainian security officials in the incident with the detention of Russians in Belarus appeared in Komsomolskaya Pravda.

In a material dated August 6, the publication reported that representatives of Ukraine were recruiting Russians with combat experience to "work" on protecting oil facilities abroad.

Communication with Ukrainian curators was carried out from Syrian and Venezuelan phone numbers, and tickets for Russian citizens on the Istanbul - Havana - Caracas route were purchased through a company registered in Lviv.

On August 18, Ukrainskaya Pravda and Censor.NET *, citing sources, reported that the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine had been planning a special operation against the Wagnerites for over a year.

According to Ukrainian media, the Kiev security forces hoped to "lure out" the Russians who allegedly fought in the Donbass.

For this, a whole scenario plan was developed.

In particular, the plane that took off from Minsk had to make an emergency landing on the territory of Ukraine, because one of the passengers allegedly became ill.

However, due to information leakage, the operation failed.

Moreover, according to Ukrainian journalists, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the head of the presidential office Andriy Yermak were devoted to its details, who, allegedly, asked to postpone the date of departure from the Belarusian capital.

Commenting on this data, the editor-in-chief of Censor.NET Yuri Butusov wrote on his Facebook page that by arresting the Russians Kiev intended to “replenish the“ exchange fund ”, but the operation failed due to the fact that Zelensky supported Yermak's request.

According to the journalist, "the country's top leadership was involved in the scandal."

On August 27, in an interview with the host of the Russia 1 TV channel, Sergei Brilyov, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the detention of Russians in Belarus an action by the special services of Ukraine and the United States.

“These people, whom you (Sergei Brilev. -

) said, were blindly used to move them to the territory of Belarus, to set completely legal goals for them, they had, as they were told, to go to third countries, to Latin America , to the Middle East, just for absolutely legal work.

In fact, they were dragged into the territory of Belarus and presented as a possible striking force to sway the situation during the election campaign, ”Putin stressed.

"It is now impossible to estimate the depth of the fall"

Experts interviewed by RT believe that the SBU's operation to "lure out" the Russians pursued very specific political goals.

According to political analysts, Zelenskiy hoped to improve his own rating and the popularity of the Servant of the People party, which he controls, ahead of the local elections scheduled for October 25, but as a result, the Ukrainian president found himself in a loser position.

“The failure of the operation and the refusal of Alexander Lukashenko to hand over the detained citizens of the Russian Federation greatly undermined Zelensky's authority.

It is now impossible to assess the depth of the fall in the eyes of voters, but the local elections should clearly show how much the situation has worsened for Zelensky and his party, ”Vladimir Olenchenko, senior researcher at the Center for European Studies at the IMEMO RAS, said in an interview with RT.

According to the expert, the failed SBU operation had negative consequences, including for the international image of Ukraine: Kiev upset the good partnership with Minsk and began to cause even more mistrust in Moscow.

At the same time, as Olenchenko explained, European Solidarity is trying to take advantage of the situation unfavorable for Zelensky and the Ukrainian state.

Ukrainian media do not rule out that its leader, Petro Poroshenko, will run for the post of mayor of Kiev.

An indirect evidence of this is the billboards with the image of the ex-president under the slogan "Our goal is European Kiev" that appeared in the streets of the Ukrainian capital in early September.

According to Olenchenko, Poroshenko and his political forces intend to undermine the position of the "Servant of the People" before the October 25 elections.

However, according to the expert, Eurosolidarity is unlikely to receive tangible political benefits.

“The current noise around the SBU special operation is a natural phenomenon for the Ukrainian reality.

The parties in the Verkhovna Rada are looking for each other's weak points.

Moreover, they are of little interest in the national interests of Ukraine.

These are the motives that European Solidarity is guided by today.

She lost the 2019 parliamentary campaign, but hopes to take revenge in the municipal elections this fall, ”says Olenchenko.

Rostislav Ishchenko, head of the Center for Systems Analysis and Forecasting, adheres to a similar point of view.

In an interview with RT, he said that by calling for the creation of a temporary commission of inquiry, Poroshenko's party is trying to attract the attention of citizens.

“In fact, it is difficult to turn the story of the detained Russians in someone's favor.

Because once again it testifies to the fact that Ukraine is a non-independent state.

In addition, its special services often act contrary to national interests and it is not clear under whose leadership, ”Ishchenko stressed.

As Nikita Danyuk, deputy director of the Institute for Strategic Studies and Forecasts of RUDN University, noted in an interview with RT, the requirement of Eurosolidarity to create a temporary commission of inquiry is devoid of real meaning and is only part of the pre-election battles.

“The documents demonstrated by Deputy Aryev only indicate that the state authorities of Ukraine have ceased to fulfill their assigned function and have turned into tools for committing political provocations, including in the interests of the West.

Hence - the intellectual degradation of personnel and failures in operations, ”summed up Danyuk.
