In June, the Uppsala Region started general sampling among the county residents.
For the first time since then, it is now not possible to meet the goal of the test being carried out within three days after the first contact.
All times are filled for several days to come and many are waiting for a time.
- Now we drive too full and work over two hours every day, says Mats Martinell, medical expert at the primary care sampling unit.

Calmer in July and August
When they started testing the population, the interest was great at first.
During July and August it calmed down and you did not even fill all the times.
Now the situation is different.
- All times are filled for several days to come and we have many who are waiting to get an appointment, says Mats Martinell.
One reason is that, since 24 August, sampling of children has begun.
