  Dongpinghu ship is a new generation of large-scale ocean-going integrated supply ship designed and built by my country, with port number 960. It joined the naval battle sequence in December 2015.

Under ocean conditions, the ship can use various methods such as horizontal, vertical, and vertical navigation to supply oil, water, food and other materials to the formation of large and medium-sized surface ships. It has the characteristics of strong adaptability, fast supply speed, and high security efficiency.

Since its entry, the Dongpinghu ship has successively performed major missions such as voyage training, exercises, and visits, with a cumulative voyage of more than 90,000 nautical miles. This is also the third time the ship has performed a escort mission in the Gulf of Aden.
