• Investigation: They investigate a possible sexist crime in Valencia after finding the body of a woman in the trunk of a car

  • Murder: The woman found dead in the trunk of her car was murdered a week earlier at her own home

At the Geneva train station (Switzerland) and with the intention of continuing to flee.

The Cantonal Police arrested Janner J. early this morning as the alleged perpetrator of the murder of his girlfriend, Yesica Daniela G., a few weeks ago in Valencia.

The body of the young woman was found on August 31 in the trunk of her car, parked in an open field in the Valencian neighborhood of Patraix.

Investigations soon concluded that the body had been there for a week, just as long as her boyfriend had been missing.

The international arrest warrant has quickly borne fruit, since according to some close to the young Colombian, his intention was to flee to France and, from there, to his country.

Finally his destination was Switzerland, from where he also intended to escape.

The investigation began on August 24 when the first information was received of the disappearance of Yesica Daniela G., a 33-year-old young nurse's aide of Uruguayan origin.

She had not reported to work for nursing home care, nor had her friends heard from her in the past few days.

Her body was found with signs of violence and wrapped in plastic inside the trunk of her own car on the 31st.

Forensic analysis determined that his death occurred at least a week earlier in the home he shared with the now detained and with another colleague who was not in the apartment at that time.

Neighbors heard a loud argument between the couple.

According to the victim's friends, it was not the first time they had come to blows and describe Janner as "jealous and a liar."

The investigation in Valencia focuses on how the detainee was able to lower Yesica's body from the fourth floor without an elevator where they resided without being seen.

To cover up the disappearance and have time to flee, he impersonated her on social networks to convey to those close to him that he was fine and that he had left for a few days.

However, all their belongings were on the floor, which made them suspicious and report their disappearance.
