His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, affirmed that the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia share deep-rooted historical and strategic relations that are growing stronger and stronger, under the support, care and interest of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries.

His Highness said in private statements after his participation in the work of the G20 foreign ministers meeting, which was held today under the chairmanship of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that the Emirati-Saudi relations constitute a distinctive and unique model for Arab-Arab relations between brothers, so what links the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is not Only strategic and historical relations, but rather an exceptional relationship reinforced by blood ties and the unity of destiny.

His Highness added that these relations have taken broader horizons for strategic cooperation under the umbrella of the Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council, which provided an ideal platform to achieve integration between the two brothers in all fields for a bright future, stressing that the achievements of the Coordination Council call for pride, and confirm that the two countries and their leadership are moving forward. His Highness indicated that the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's presidency of the current session of the Group of Twenty, to be held in Riyadh in November 2020, coincides with exceptional circumstances that the whole world is going through due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus "Covid-19", adding: "We are grateful for the efforts being made. His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended his deepest thanks and appreciation to his brother, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, for his invitation to participate in the G20 foreign ministers meeting, praising His Highness’s outstanding efforts to ensure the achievement of the G20 summit.
