The statements of the German authorities that Alexei Navalny was poisoned are falsifications, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

“I noticed, watching the Russian events, they - the West - have a new feature.

Again "Novichok", again poisoning.

So I have to tell you that yesterday or the day before yesterday, I don't remember exactly, before Merkel's speech (she said that they wanted to shut his mouth with Navalny) we intercepted the conversation.

We understand that Warsaw is talking with Berlin.

Two subscribers are in touch, ”Lukashenka said.

BelTA cites his words.

According to him, this conversation was intercepted by the electronic military intelligence of Belarus.

“And we intercepted an interesting conversation, which (I will give it to you to read, we will prepare and send it to the FSB) clearly indicates that this is falsification.

There was no poisoning of Navalny, ”the Belarusian leader added.

He expressed the assumption that the statement by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her administration was prepared by a group of specialists.

“They did it, quote:“ To discourage Putin, stick his nose into the affairs of Belarus ”.

I quoted this conversation.

You understand how Jesuit these people act, ”Lukashenka added.

On the eve of the official representative of the government of the Federal Republic of Germany Steffen Seibert said that Alexei Navalny was allegedly poisoned with a nerve agent from the Novichok group.

Toxicological research at the request of the Berlin clinic "Charite", where Navalny has been located since August 22, was carried out by a special laboratory of the German Armed Forces.

After that, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov recalled that prior to transportation from Omsk to Navalny, a whole set of analyzes was carried out in accordance with international standards - no toxic substances were identified.

According to Maria Zakharova, spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, representatives of the German Foreign Ministry did not provide any evidence of Navalny's "poisoning".

At the same time, Berlin did not provide any answers in connection with requests from both the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and Russian doctors.

"The western border of Belarus is taken under control"

In addition, Alexander Lukashenko told Mikhail Mishustin about the unfriendly steps taken by NATO members.

In particular, there is evidence that military units and equipment of the alliance are being transferred to the borders of Belarus.

“We have deployed almost half of our Belarusian army.

In fact, they took control of the western borders with Lithuania and Poland.

And, as I often say, they actually surrounded Grodno to counter these threats.

Probably, this demonstration yielded results, ”the Belarusian leader explained.

In turn, the Russian prime minister pointed out that the governments of the two countries maintain regular contacts.

So, at the recent talks between the heads of government of Russia and Belarus, almost the entire range of issues related to the Union State was discussed.

“In hospitable Minsk, we would like to emphasize that Russia fully supports the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Belarus,” Mishustin said, noting that Belarusians and Russians are actually one people.

“The most important thing is to prevent some kind of fire from starting up in Minsk”

Earlier on September 3, Alexander Lukashenko said that the socio-political situation in Belarus is not difficult or problematic.

He said this during the approval of new heads of local executive bodies in a number of districts of the Gomel region.

“You cannot say that we are carrying out these appointments at some difficult period.

I keep trying to comprehend the situation in the country and all the time I come to the conclusion: when you leave the ring road, life changes dramatically.

Therefore, it would be ridiculous to say that we have big problems and difficulties.

Your life is completely different than in Minsk, and even in Minsk it differs from yours only on Sunday, ”Lukashenka said.

According to him, there are no color revolutions, no disasters, or other terrible things in Minsk, but there are certain people who publicly demonstrate their dissatisfaction with what is happening in Belarus.

“They were in the last elections, but the peculiarity is that then they peacefully perceived their defeat,” the head of state explained.

He stressed that the situation in Belarus is being influenced from abroad, in particular from Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Ukraine.

According to him, the Belarusian authorities are reacting to “negative gestures” towards the country.

“The most important thing for us is to prevent any kind of fire from starting up in Minsk.

Because this always happens: it starts from the capital and spreads to the whole country, ”Lukashenka said, expressing gratitude to Russia for its support in the fight against aggression from outside.

The President of Belarus also called on the new leaders of local executive bodies in a number of districts of the Gomel region to remember that mistakes should not be made in their work, including in suppressing attempts to destabilize the situation.

“But you must understand perfectly well: there is a red line, no one is allowed to cross it.

If this happens, naturally, we will react to the fullest extent of our law.

Therefore, I ask you to convey this to the people.

Let them not condemn me too much for some softness.

There is no softness here.

The country works, although many would like (especially our neighbors) that we collapse, ”Lukashenka stated.

In addition, on September 3, the Belarusian president appointed a new deputy prime minister, chairman of the KGB and state secretary of the republic’s Security Council.

These positions were occupied by Anatoly Sivak (former head of the Minsk City Executive Committee), Ivan Tertel (ex-head of the State Control Committee) and Valery Vakalchuk (previously head of the KGB), respectively.

Detentions and criminal cases

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus summed up the results of unauthorized actions that took place in eight cities of the republic on September 2.

According to the ministry, in total they took about 1,000 people.

“24 citizens were detained for violation of the legislation on mass events, three of them are students.

Before the consideration of cases on administrative offenses in court, 16 people were placed in places of detention, ”the message says.

In addition, the ministry confirmed to RIA Novosti the detention of well-known TV presenters and showmen Denis Dudinsky and Dmitry Kokhno in the framework of an administrative case for participating in an unauthorized event.

At the same time, on similar administrative cases in the court of the Tsentralny district of Minsk, a meeting is being held in relation to the members of the presidium of the coordinating council of the Belarusian opposition Sergei Dylevsky and Olga Kovalkova.

On September 3, their 10-day term of administrative arrest ends.
