The young people were frustrated by the gang violence: Gothenburg politicians deaf to our proposals

The young people have previously had meetings with both politicians and officials.

Meetings they themselves arranged to be able to present their concrete ideas.

They are about how young people should do so as not to end up in gang crime, and how society can reduce lethal violence.

- Living in a suburb right now is like living in a crime scene, says Omar Josef Benaim to SVT News.

He is one of those who has become involved in the issue and helps young people to choose the right path.

But so far politicians have not listened, they claim.
