The Finnish Association of Architects, founded in 1892, is now awarding the Finlandia Prize for Architecture for the seventh time.

The winner of the award is chosen by the musician, actor Paula Vesala.

The winner is selected annually by an influencer who has become known as an expert in a field other than architecture.

The Corona Spring affected the selection of Finlandia candidates this year.

Due to the restrictions on visits to the corona situation, in addition to foreign destinations, schools, kindergartens and care facilities were excluded from the candidates.

The winner of the Finlandia Architecture will be announced on 5 October.
