The funds will be directed to the republics of Bashkortostan, Mari El, Tyva and North Ossetia - Alania, as well as Volgograd, Vologda, Kemerovo, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Tambov, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk regions, Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Khabarovsk Territory.
Funds are allocated within the framework of the national project "Safe and high-quality roads" and the state program "Development of the transport system".
In 2020, these funds will be used to repair about 110 km of highways, complete the construction of a road in the Murmansk region, and accelerate the reconstruction of a tunnel in North Ossetia.
“In general, this will help improve the transport situation in the regions, increase the throughput of existing roads and complete projects under construction in a timely manner,” the government said.
