- We naturally think it is sad not to be able to carry out the 29th Christmas fair at Huseby, but the circumstances this year mean that we believe it is the wisest decision, says Sofie Magnusson, CEO of Huseby Bruk AB.

- We will have Christmas events at Huseby this year as well, but then to a lesser extent and adapted to prevailing conditions, Sofie Magnusson continues.

Whether there will be a Christmas market at Bergqvara farm outside Växjö on 11-13 December is not yet decided.

The decision will be made in October.

- We follow the development and see what the conditions look like then.

Because our market is so late in the year, we feel that we can afford to wait until October, says Nils Posse.

Creates a Christmas atmosphere without a market

Kulturparken Småland has decided to cancel its traditional Christmas market with many exhibitors and visitors.

Instead, they will invite you to a Christmas atmosphere at the museum with some activities for children.

- We had to make the decision already now.

It takes a long time to plan a Christmas market and we need a long time in advance, says Lennart Johansson, CEO and museum director at Kulturparken Småland.

In Västervik, it is not really decided yet if there will be a Christmas market on Spötorget like last year.

But it tends to be set

- We follow closely what the Public Health Agency says and we have a good dialogue with the police.

We will make a decision in October, says Tobias Ahlstedt, center manager in Västervik.

No outdoor Christmas market

In Kosta, there will be no traditional Christmas market outdoors as there usually is, but Christmas is not canceled.

- All props with mechanical elves, our skating rink and large spruces, we move indoors instead, into the shopping center, says Emil A. Jansson at Destination Kosta.

There will be no sheds outdoors but the over five million lights will be on just as usual.
