In summary proceedings, the Strasbourg administrative court asks the prefecture to lower the obligation to wear a mask.
The court considers that the obligation to wear the mask everywhere and all the time constitutes an infringement of the freedom to come and go, it is an infringement of personal freedom.
The prefect has until Monday, September 7 to review her copy.

The prefecture will have to determine where and when the mask should be compulsory, together with the 13 municipalities of 10,000 inhabitants concerned.
The current decree is considered disproportionate.
Forcing the population to wear a mask in a deserted street at 3 a.m. does not make sense, he said.
This obligation should have been linked to a very deteriorated local health situation.
And the judge believes that today the epidemic is far from being virulent in the Bas-Rhin department.
With the return of students and vacationers, the number of new cases has increased since mid-August, but the department is not in the red.
There are few new hospitalizations and the number of people in intensive care remains stable.
These are two doctors who are at the origin of this procedure against the wearing of the compulsory mask.
They claim not to be anti-masks.
Above all, they wanted to send a message, they say.
The mask is completely unnecessary in low traffic areas.
According to them, it should be reserved for gatherings or crowded streets.
