Suspicions of jealousy put him in a black anger and unleashed his incredible violence, he explained at the bar.

On Monday, a 31-year-old man was sentenced to three years in prison, including 18 months closed, before the correctional court of Bourg-en-Bresse in Ain, for having beaten his partner and having demonstrated an act of cruelty towards an animal.

On August 28, the man who had just served a 10-year prison sentence imposed on him for a robbery carried out in 2011, returned home drunk at the start of the night.

According to

Le Progrès,

the defendant then beat his partner, hitting her on the body, face, and going out in the night to come back even more excited and violent.

The young woman was punched, slapped, pulled by the hair and hit with a hairdryer.

Children attend the scene

Far from stopping there, the man, convinced of having been deceived by his companion when he was in prison, did not hesitate to grab the family's parakeet and behead it with a cutter in front of the children of his partner, aged about ten, adds the regional daily.

When the gendarmes, alerted, arrived at the couple's home, the young woman had a swollen face and bore multiple marks of beatings.

Following his immediate appearance trial, the abusive partner was kept in detention.
