The International Atomic Energy Agency's IAEA raised suspicion that North Korea has produced uranium at its Yongbyon nuclear fuel rod manufacturing plant for the past year and that it may be enriching uranium on steel wires near Pyongyang.

The IAEA announced a report containing this suspicion by analyzing satellite images and others ahead of the general meeting, which is scheduled to be held for five days starting on the 21st, and said it regrets that North Korea clearly violated the UN resolution.

The IAEA just announced that the 5MW reactor in Yongbyon, which is known to have produced plutonium for weapons by North Korea, appears to have not been operated since early December 2018, and there are no signs of extracting plutonium.
