They are all under the age of 50, the majority asymptomatic and some of them, three or four - according to reports from the Trento Health Authority - have "mild and vague" symptoms, said Pierpaolo Benetollo, number one of the APSS.
Further epidemiological investigations are underway to prevent the spread of the infection and about a hundred swabs have been carried out in the closest circle of acquaintances and relatives.
The new outbreak in Trentino is linked to a company linked to meat processing.
The infections occurred among the employees of the company.
It seems that among them there is also a minor.
The alarm went off after a couple of suspected cases found by swab.
At that point an epidemiological investigation was carried out which led to the discovery of the existence of a connection between the infected.
The announcement came at a press conference.
Now the health company is trying to reconstruct the contacts that workers have had with other people, both family and acquaintances and friends.
The goal is to isolate those who have come into contact with the positives as soon as possible.
Now all employees of the meat company and their family members will be swabbed.
From what has been communicated, the infected are all under 50, mostly asymptomatic, even if there are those who show the typical symptoms of covid-19.
