The French Julian Alaphilippe is no longer the yellow jersey, which passes on the shoulders of the British Adam Yates.

The former leader was penalized by 20 seconds by the commissioners of the

at the end of the fifth stage, for having taken a bottle on the side of the road when there were 17 km to the finish: the regulation allows refueling up to -20 km.

By virtue of the penalty, Yates, third in the second stage, in which Alaphilippe had conquered the top of the standings, is in the lead with a 3 ”advantage over the Slovenian Primož Roglič, winner of the fourth stage.
