The Palestinian Al-Quds newspaper reported that the signing ceremony for the Emirati-Israeli normalization agreement will take place on September 13 at the White House in Washington, coinciding with the anniversary of the Oslo Accords in the US capital nearly three decades ago.

The newspaper's correspondent in Washington, Saeed Erekat, stated that the White House crews are urging steps and are working to organize a ceremony for the signing of the agreement that was reached on August 13th.

The newspaper added that the date of September 13 was chosen for the signing of the normalization agreement, because it coincides with the anniversary of the signing of the Oslo Agreement between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization in the White House in 1993.

Referring to the Emirates and the sponsors of normalization between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, the Palestinian newspaper said, "They want to celebrate the achievement of their goal of Israel’s acquisition and annexation of Palestinian lands," as it puts it.

There are reports that the US President Donald Trump's administration has sought to persuade Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, to participate in the signing ceremony of the Emirati-Israeli normalization agreement, which angered the Palestinians, and was strongly criticized by countries such as Turkey.
