Woman stabbed to death in Millau, two family members arrested

A woman was discovered on Tuesday killed with a knife in her apartment in Millau (Aveyron), and her companion and her son-in-law were taken into custody, said the Rodez prosecutor's office.

The police, who quickly arrested the two men, had been warned by a neighbor, prosecutor Olivier Naboulet told AFP.

The victim and the two people arrested are of foreign nationality, European nationals, he added, refusing to provide further details immediately.

According to Midi-Libre, the stepson, a minor, was prostrate near the body at the entrance of the police, while the victim's companion was outside the apartment.
