China News Service, September 1 According to the US "World Journal" report, the California Forestry and Fire Protection Agency stated on August 31 that three wildfires caused by lightning in the Bay Area are expected to be completely controlled in the near future.

However, the Bureau of Meteorology predicts that the local temperature will rise this weekend and wildfires may come back.

On August 28, local time, a building in Vacaville, Northern California, was damaged by a wildfire.

Local media reported that the hard-hit communities in the Bay Area will face a long reconstruction process.

California Forestry and Fire Protection Agency spokesperson Tomachaf said that due to the cooling climate and the moisture brought by the ocean air mass, the three major fire sites in the Bay Area are expected to be fully controlled in the near future.

Tomachaf said: "The fire fighting work went very smoothly and made very significant progress."

These three wildfires have been burning since August 17th.

The fire site that destroyed the most buildings was 1453 buildings that were burned to ashes.

However, the National Weather Service said that the Bay Area will have a high air pressure over the weekend, and the temperature will rise by then.

Weather expert Matt Mehle said: "The high temperature will reappear before the weekend, and the smog will be suppressed by the high pressure for a period of time and cannot be dissipated."

Officials from the California Department of Forest and Fire Protection said that the humidity has started to drop and they hope to control as much fire area as possible before the next heat wave hits.
