The torch exhibition adopts an advance reservation system, and the exhibition will last until November 1.

  According to reports, the torch is displayed in a burning state in a fire box that is about 30 cm high and weighs about 1.8 kg.

Yoshihiro Shima, a 53-year-old company employee who plans to participate in the torch relay as a torchbearer, said, “This is a warm flame. I hope to run with the torch that lights the torch.”

On August 31, local time, the torch of the Tokyo Olympics was publicly unveiled at the Olympic Museum in Japan. Starting from September 1, the torch will be exhibited here for two months.

  According to reports, in order to prevent the spread of the new crown epidemic, the torch exhibition adopts a method of limiting the number of visitors.

Public visits need to be booked in advance through the website.

General admission is 500 yen (approximately RMB 32), free for high school students and younger.

  The Olympic flame was collected in Greece and shipped to Japan in March. After the exhibition, it will be exhibited in about 10 prefectures across Japan from November 5 to March 17, 2021.
