The Red Crescent takes care to shelter the residents of a building affected by the explosion of gas installations in Abu Dhabi

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, the authority took care of the accommodation of the 38 residents of the building affected by the explosion of gas installations in a restaurant on Rashid bin Saeed Street in Abu Dhabi, of 38 families, whose members number 208 people.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan ordered the authority to make the necessary arrangements to provide all means of comfort for the affected and meet their necessary needs, and immediately the Red Crescent Authority moved through its center in Abu Dhabi towards the affected families, and counted the residents of the building in cooperation and coordination with the competent official authorities, and they were transferred To a number of hotel apartments in Abu Dhabi, and a team of workers and volunteers at the center is currently supervising to facilitate their lives and meet their needs.

The Secretary-General of the Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Muhammad Ateeq Al-Falahi, confirmed that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan came within the framework of His Highness’s initiatives to relieve the burdens of those affected in emergency situations, and His Highness’s constant endeavor to provide a decent life for needy families and those with needs within the country, pointing out that His Highness pays great attention to local humanitarian issues, and always directs to strengthening the role of the Red Crescent in its local arena, expanding and spreading among the vulnerable groups and groups and meeting their needs in all fields.

Al-Falahi said that the authority will stand by the affected people, in implementation of the directives of His Highness the President of the Authority, and based on its humanitarian responsibility towards them, and its keenness to create appropriate conditions for them to practice their daily activities without being affected by the circumstances of the accident, and to move to a new place of residence.
