- If the money is not paid out, there is a risk that we will have to postpone important investments such as more frequent departures in bus traffic.

The money is delayed

It is the Swedish Transport Administration that has been commissioned to pay out the three billion that the government has promised public transport in the country's regions.

But that money will be delayed further.

- The application period has not started yet, but it will last between weeks 38 and 40. After that, there may be talk of distributing the money to public transport, says Thomas Johansson, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration.
