Last season, around 5,000 spectators were attracted to the two derby matches, but this year the situation is different for obvious reasons.

- If you look at last year, the derby matches accounted for about half of the match revenue.

We made about half a million in the matches last year so it is a heavy loss but still only part of the loss we make throughout the season, says Anders Eriksson who is club manager for Sandvikens IF.

Right now, the government is investigating the possibility of admitting more spectators than the 50 that are currently allowed.

Something that could become a reality in October.

So the question is how much would he like to have played the matches later in the season?

- When we heard about it on the news, we talked about the possibilities of being able to move the matches in case, but it is so tight and now it is as it is.

But if it were to be the case in Denmark that you can take in an audience based on how big the arena is, we could take in quite a lot of people, maybe between six and eight hundred, which is about like our usual audience average.

From a sporting point of view, last season's meetings meant double victories for Sandviken, so Gefle has double revenge to claim.
