Among them, the 70-year-old is the most with 67 people, followed by the 80-year-old with 66.

  According to the report, 178 of them died in the room, and 169 of them did not use air conditioning.

  According to statistics from the Japan Meteorological Agency, throughout August, the highest temperature in central Tokyo for 11 days was above 35 degrees Celsius, a record high since the statistics were available in 1875.
