In front of a large convenience store in Philadelphia, the United States, police are blocking access to outsiders and conducting a shooting investigation.

The cause of the incident was social distancing.

When the clerk restricts the order of entry to allow enough distance, an enraged customer fired.

[Scott Small/Philadelphia Police Chief: A quarrel started when I said that I had to wait, and that because of social distancing, I had to come in after someone else went out.] The

clerk who was shot is in critical condition.

Notices were posted throughout the store asking for a distance of 1.8 meters.

The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting, but was caught by the police.

[Christine Olsen/Store Customer: Because of the coronavirus, social distancing and wearing masks are of course required.]

A bartender in a Denver City bar was criticized for asking customers to wear masks.

[Stephane Gold/Bar Owner: The man said this.

Damn masks are

worn

when I want them to be.] The

customer pushed the bartender roughly and even swear words that he couldn't put his mouth on.

[Stefan Gold/Bar Owner: Victim is a professional bartender.

I always work at a cocktail bar, and this is the first time I've ever been attacked like this.] The

rioters were charged with trespassing and harassment, but the charges of refusing to wear masks did not apply.

[Stefan Gold/Bar Owner: It's a terrible situation for all of us.

The perpetrator only makes the situation worse.]
