• Vox Santiago Abascal will be the candidate in Vox's motion of censure and will promise to call elections

The political course for Vox starts with the motion of censure as a great milestone, but with two or three weeks to go before the initiative is formally presented, Santiago Abascal's party needs to add support so as not to be left alone. Hence, this Monday he appealed to PP and Ciudadanos to join, warning them that the objective, in addition to throwing the PSOE and Podemos out of the Government, would be to "immediately call the corresponding general elections."

In a press conference after the meeting of the Political Action Committee, Jorge Buxadé has urged the opposition deputies to support the motion of no confidence since, in his opinion, there is an "urgency to put an end to the policies of the Government of Sánchez and Iglesias "for the consequences that his management is having in the health and economic crisis.

Therefore, and with time to present the initiative in Congress, he reminded PP, Ciudadanos and other forces that Santiago Abascal has the office "open" to unite anyone who considers that there is "a national emergency to dislocate Sánchez and Iglesias de la Moncloa ".

As EL MUNDO already advanced on August 24, Buxadé has shown that the ultimate intention of Vox is to go to the motion of censure with the promise of calling the polls. Vox's strategy, the political vice president of the formation has said, is to "give a voice to the Spanish who are demanding that the Congress of Deputies respond in an authentic act of sovereignty and expel the Government of Sánchez and Iglesias and recover for Spain a Government that proceeds, of course, to immediately call the corresponding general elections and give a voice to the Spanish ".

Buxadé has justified that the motion of censure "is in the street" and in "closed businesses." "The motion of censure is made by the Spanish every day," he said, maintaining that it is not the consequence of a strategic decision of the party but of the "political coherence" of Vox in the face of the "national emergency" and of wanting to "give voice to all those who don't have it. " "The Spanish people are already a cry of 'Sánchez go now'," he remarked.

The national spokesperson for Vox has not yet wanted to confirm that the candidate will be Santiago Abascal, although it is what he has been working with for weeks. He has only limited himself to saying that he will be "the most capable person to defend the alternative program" to the Government.

IMMIGRATION AND OKUPAS

For the rest, Vox has started the political course taking again immigration and squatters as its first messages. Two issues that he plans to turn into campaign axes in the next Catalan elections.

Buxadé has warned that Spain has suffered during the summer a "process of migratory invasion" with the arrival of boats to the Spanish coasts and has accused the NGOs of "complicity" for sending boats to rescue these people from the sea. He has also blamed the government for being "unable to protect borders" and the media for "hiding reality" by failing to report it.

Vox has linked the arrival of immigrants with the risk of contagion from the coronavirus. First, by emphasizing the "injustice" of having PCR performed on them when the security forces are left "helpless" and without protective equipment. And, second, because the migrants who test negative are "crowded" later with the risk that this poses for the "spread".

Regarding squatters, Vox has advocated for the "immediate expulsion" from the homes of those who perpetrate a "robbery" of the property of the Spanish and before the "passivity" of the Government.
