At least two soldiers were killed and seven more were injured as a result of missile strikes by the Israeli air force in the suburbs of Damascus, the Syrian agency SANA reports, citing a source.
According to the agency, the attacks came from Mount Hermon and the Golan Heights in the area south of Damascus.
The attack also caused damage to military installations in Syria.
Earlier, SANA reported that Syrian air defenses are repelling a missile attack in the suburbs of Damascus.
