The employees also get greater opportunities to be on leave, either at 100 percent or 20 percent and then an equal share of the salary is deducted.

But Scania can still say no to anyone applying for leave or dismissal.

This applies to those who have a so-called "business-critical service".

- It will cost but it is a solution to reduce staffing in a voluntary way to avoid notice as much as possible, says Karin Hallstan, press officer at Scania.

Last week, SVT Nyheter also reported that Scania offers a retirement pension for 64-year-olds, and that it has more package solutions that may be offered in the future.
