The search for the man who has been missing since July 25 intensified sharply on Monday. Despite extensive searches, the police have not yet found any body. Two men in their 20s are in custody on suspicion of having murdered the man.
Missing People, the navy and the coast guard have now joined the search operation that takes place in a large part of the Karlskrona archipelago, on land, on islands and at sea. The search effort is the largest in Blekinge in the foreseeable future, according to Magnus Bergman, local police area chief in Karlskrona.
Why are you calling in Missing People only now?
- We have compiled current areas that are important to do these searches on, so that we can prioritize which islands and in what order we should do it, says Magnus Bergman.
