"To prohibit until August 31, 2020 (inclusive) the smoking of hookahs in restaurants, bars, cafes and other similar facilities during a period of high readiness for the authorities and forces of the Moscow Regional Emergency Prevention and Response System," the document says.
The ban was in effect in the Moscow region since March 25 due to the risk of the spread of coronavirus infection.
Earlier, the TV channel "360" broadcast that the self-isolation regime for residents over 65 has been canceled in the Moscow region since August 24.
