Like every year, France welcomes several thousand students (358 0000) from all over the world.

This year, the 2020 school year will take place in a context of a health crisis which makes it difficult to apply from the countries of origin to register.

At the École supérieure de commerce de Pau, in southwestern France, everything is done to facilitate the arrival of foreign students, especially those from African countries.

Less than 2 weeks ago, the French consulates abroad resumed the processing of student visa applications which had been suspended since the start of the coronavirus epidemic.

Joël Kouakou Kouassi, a 27-year-old Ivorian, is admitted to ESC Pau.

I am a student admitted to the Grande École pre-Master cycle and therefore for the various procedures, first of all the interview at Campus France and after the visa application for which it is necessary to have accommodation.

The school, she helped me find accommodation in France before my arrival, and finally I was able to have accommodation in a university residence at the school's proposal.

Once the contract is signed by the school, a residence certificate is sent to Joël Kouakou Kouassi who can then submit a visa application.

In the meantime, the school prepares future international students to learn about the health measures in force in France.

“

The Pau school will send each student a brochure on the measures to be adopted to reduce the spread of the disease and also a brochure on the various steps to follow once the student arrives in France.

"

An educational registration platform allows foreign students to register online.

In the event of a delay, ESC Pau has planned distance learning courses so that international students do not miss any training module.
