Ferrari’s Belgian race weekend was a real downfall from the first free practice to the checkered flag of the Spa race. The red devils drove to the finish line intact, but even the lean pleasures of it ceased. Sebastian Vettel was 13th in the race, Charles Leclerc 14th, a couple of seconds behind his experienced teammate.

- We are disappointed and angry, as surely our fans and for good reason, Ferrari team manager Mattio Binotto rolled after the race according to Autosport.

- This is an awkward place in a season that we knew in advance was going to be difficult. We just have to stay strong.

Both Ferrari drivers were left out of the top ten, that is, out of the rankings. Kimi Räikkönen, who drove his Alfa Romeo to 12th place, was in the end the best driver to drive a Ferrari engine.

Leclerc commented that Ferrari was inefficient, that it was difficult for it to overtake Kemmel directly, even with the help of a movable rear wing, i.e. DRS.

- Really frustrating. This was a really hard weekend for us, the Monaco commented.

Vettel already turned his attention to the home games of Mosa and Mugello in Italy in September.

- We have two important races coming. Our focus is now on them. However, we must be realistic: we cannot expect miracles. The package is what it is, Vettel said.

Ferrari is only fifth in the manufacturers' World Championship series.
