100% return of government employees in Umm Al Quwain to their workplace

The Executive Council of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain issued Circular No. 7 of 2020 regarding the 100% return of employees to their work places in government agencies, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, 2020.

The circular stipulated the abolition of all exceptions granted to employees working in the government, provided that the exceptions are limited to the following groups provided that their job duties do not require the necessity to be present at the workplace and they are “employees with chronic diseases so that their work continues remotely, provided that a detailed medical report approved by the competent medical committee is submitted. And female employees who pursue the education of their children in distance education at the school stage from the sixth grade of primary school and below, provided that they provide evidence that the children are registered in distance education, in addition to the female employees who care for their children at home from the people of determination whose health condition requires permanent care Under emergency circumstances, based on the report of the health authorities approved in the country.

The circular also stipulated the continuation of the flexible working hours and the distribution of employees into groups upon attendance and departure to ensure that gatherings and mixing are reduced, thus achieving social distancing.

The circular obliged all government agencies to implement these instructions with the return of employees to their workplace by taking all health precautionary measures related to social distancing between employees, and the extent of the offices' readiness and preparation to receive employees and dealers in accordance with precautionary measures to ensure the safety of everyone.
