Vaccination against coronavirus infection COVID-19 in Russia will reach maximum volumes after November-December 2020. This was announced by the Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko. He noted that at the moment, several more domestic vaccines are at the stage of clinical trials or registration.

"For risk groups, the first vaccines will begin to arrive in a small volume already in September, and more massive vaccination coverage is planned after November-December," the minister of TASS quoted as saying.

From September 1, about 450 flu vaccination points will start operating in Moscow. As the head of the Moscow Department of Health Alexei Khripun noted, the interval between vaccinations against influenza and against COVID-19 should be at least a month.

The head of the Ministry of Health also stressed that the first deliveries of large consignments of the Sputnik V vaccine will begin in September.

“In terms of vaccination against coronavirus infection, production development and post-registration observation are currently underway. First of all, of course, vaccines will be shipped for medical workers and teachers, this (vaccination. -  RT ) will be absolutely voluntary, "he added.

Meanwhile, groups of volunteers continue to form to participate in post-marketing trials of the COVID-19 vaccine. According to Murashko, more than 2.5 thousand out of 40 thousand people have already been recruited.

In addition, the eighth edition of guidelines for caring for patients with coronavirus will be published in the coming days.

“Unfortunately, we see that today the population is slightly disregarding these rules (for the prevention of COVID-19),” the minister said.

Murashko also clarified that the relatives of more than 200 medical workers received insurance payments on the fact of death from coronavirus, about 500 more applications are under consideration, he added.

Recall that the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine, developed by the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology (NICEM) named after honorary academician N.F. Gamalei, was the first to be registered in the world (11 August). According to Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, more than ten countries are currently studying the Russian experience in accelerated registration of vaccines against COVID-19. At the same time, applications were received from more than 20 states for the purchase of 1 billion doses of a domestic drug. At the same time, according to President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, this republic will be the first to receive the Sputnik V vaccine. Also, Kazakhstan has concluded an agreement with Russia that it will receive a guaranteed volume of the drug.

Over the past day, 4993 new cases of coronavirus infection COVID-19 have been detected in 83 regions of Russia. According to the headquarters, 24.8% of new patients had no clinical manifestations of coronavirus infection.
