30 August 2020The murder of Aneliya Dimova, a 56-year-old Bulgarian, whose body was found this morning in the historic center of Belvedere Marittimo, is investigated for murder.

According to a first reconstruction, the woman, who lived permanently in the town of the Tyrrhenian coast of Cosenza, was found in her bed, with her face covered with a handkerchief.

The cause of death, from an initial analysis by the coroner, is attributable to several blows to the head, probably inflicted with a blunt object. No hypothesis is excluded and the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Scalea, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor of Paola, directed by Pier Paolo Bruni, are trying to reconstruct the last moments of the woman's life to trace the murderer.

Any recordings of video surveillance cameras in the vicinity are also being examined by the investigators.
