Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed today, Sunday, the existence of secret direct talks with the leaders of a number of Arab countries to normalize relations with Israel.

"There are several direct and undeclared talks with Arab and Muslim leaders to normalize relations with the State of Israel," Netanyahu said during a press conference gathered by the US president's son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner in occupied Jerusalem, on the eve of the first commercial flight between Israel and the UAE.

The Prime Minister indicated that Sudan and the Sultanate of Oman are among these countries, in addition to Chad.

The upcoming "historic" air flight comes tomorrow, Monday, about two weeks after the announcement of the agreement to normalize relations between the UAE and Israel, which was mediated by the United States.

The flight will be carried on Monday morning by an American-Israeli delegation headed by Kushner.

Yesterday, Saturday, the UAE canceled the boycott of Israel law, according to a presidential decree, and allowed its citizens to cooperate in commercial and financial cooperation with the Israelis.

Israel welcomed the decision, as Netanyahu, in a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, described it as "an important step that will advance prosperity and peace in the region."

For his part, Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi said that the abolition of the UAE's boycott of Israel is an important step towards a real peace that yields economic and commercial achievements for the two peoples, and enhances stability in the Middle East.
