Jordan .. The number of Corona foci in Amman is large and calls for concern
The Epidemiology Committee in Jordan said, on Sunday evening, that the number of new Corona virus hotspots in the capital, Amman, is large.
The committee stated that the Kingdom has not reached the stage of a societal outbreak of Corona yet.
She stressed that the return of schools carries a risk of increasing the number of Corona injuries, and the "protocol" came to reduce them.
The Director of Corona Crisis Cell Operations, Brigadier General Mazen Al-Faraya, said that the epidemiological situation in the capital is cause for concern.
He added during his speech on the Jordan TV news bulletin, that there is a geographical spread and an increase in the number of injuries in Amman.
He pointed out that the isolation of the buildings proved successful, adding that the greater the number of buildings, the greater the burden on the security services, which may cause the transition from isolating a building to isolating a brigade and so on.
In addition, the governor of the capital, Saad Al-Shehab, said that, on Sunday, 13 buildings were isolated, including two in Al-Muqabaleen, and two in Al-Nuzha, after discovering Corona injuries in them.
In a press statement, Al-Shehab said that the other buildings are located in the areas of Khraibet Al-Souq, Arjan, Marka North, Marj Al-Hamam, Al-Jamaa Street, Jabal Al-Weibdeh, Salih Al-Abed, Al-Bunayyat and Al-Wehdat.
He stressed that the buildings were dealt with and sterilized to prevent the spread of infection in accordance with the approved health protocol.
The governor of the capital indicated that the necessary precautionary measures have been taken and a police patrol has been secured to ensure that no person enters or leaves the buildings so that epidemiological investigation teams can take samples.
