A Gulf caught cultivating drugs in his apartment

The Dubai Criminal Court has started the trial of a Gulf Arab named (A.B.A.), on charges of cultivating the cannabis plant from which the drug of hashish is extracted, as he found three green plants, and also seized in his possession an amount of hashish drug, and was accused of facilitating the abuse of a teenager who was referred to juvenile court.

A witness from the Dubai Police said in the investigations of the Public Prosecution that reliable information was received about the accused, who has just passed the age of 18, consuming narcotic substances, and possessing a quantity of them inside his residence in a well-known tower in the Business Bay area, so he was arrested accompanied by another young man (the second accused ) And two girls.

He added that by searching the suspect’s apartment, he found under a table in his apartment a roll of paper containing tobacco mixed with hashish, and also found a plastic box containing a bag containing another quantity in the apartment’s hall, and another bag was found in the refrigerator, but the surprise was to find an electrical device. He used to grow the hemp plant from which he extracted cannabis, and three hemp seedlings were planted inside his residence.

The first accused stated that the second accused in the case was the one who brought the seedlings to the apartment, and that the latter bought the seeds from a person at one of the parties, but he did not know any data about the seller, and he was the one who placed it in his apartment, and he also admitted to providing one of the two girls (Hadath) with hashish twice. For nothing.

The second accused in the case stated that the drug of hashish seized in the apartment belonged to the first accused, and that he bought it from one of the persons with the participation of the first accused in exchange for sums of money they participated in.

The witness from the Dubai Police stated that the defendant (referred to the Juvenile Court) supplied her with the drug of hashish twice within a month without financial compensation, pointing out that the arrest process affected another person who found inside his vehicle a quantity of hashish drug inside a plastic box he hid under the driver's seat Admitting that he obtained it from an unidentified Asian person outside the country, who sold it through the WhatsApp application, in a way that drug traffickers have resorted to in the recent period, by sending the drug’s whereabouts through a location-based service, then the buyer transfers the money to him through one of the exchange offices from They did not meet, pointing out that he had resold the drugs to the second accused, who was caught in the apartment of the first accused for a larger sum.

The accused was arrested, accompanied by a young man and two girls.
